Disinfect Your Device Often
Studies have shown that your phone carries more bacteria and viruses than a public toilet. Get in the habit of disinfecting your phone and then washing your hands. Without doing both, you're not keeping yourself safe. Your device comes into direct contact with your face, which is the most common means of entry into your body for bacteria and viruses.
- Bleach wipes are the most effective, but alcohol wipes will work as well
- Power off the device
- Squeeze out the excess liquid from the wipe and avoid getting liquid into the ear speaker and other ports on the device
- Wipe all surfaces thoroughly and allow to dry
- Clean cases in warm soapy water whenever they become soiled, wipe dry, and allow to air dry
